Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: Kevin Love, Rajon Rondo Could Be Targets As Team Plans Offseason Overhaul

Expect some big moves this summer from the Loss Angeles Lakers that’s if the rumors which are currently being passed around are to be believed.

The Lakers team is said to be targeting Allstar player Kevin Love, who is currently playing for Cleveland Cavaliers and Rojan Rondo who was recently traded to the Dallas Mavericks as they plan on overhauling their entire roster.

According to numerous reports, the Lakers team is working on a series of moves during the offseason so as to ensure that they bring in big players who will team up with the team’s star player Kobe Bryant. While Sources that are close to the team had already confirmed that Los Angeles Lakers will be targeting Rojan Rondo during the offseason, the move to acquire Kevin Love during the off season is a recent revelation.

According to Basketball Insiders’ Steve Kyler, “So real money, let’s peg the Lakers at $22.1 million to play with, that’s enough for one serious max contract to an established veteran like [Greg] Monroe, Rondo or Love – and all three are said to be willing to meet with the Lakers this summer.”

Earlier rumors were indicating that the 5 time champion Kobe Bryant will be traded by the Lakers so as to get draft picks or prospects but following the stars documentary, “Kobe Bryant’s Muse” it’s clear that he will be spending his final days in a gold and purple jersey.

“If I’m not playing in a Laker uniform, I’m not playing,” Bryant said during the premier of documentary.
